“ Ordered pickup on Wednesday night. Emma was at the front, greeted me promptly, and asked how she could help. I told her I had a pick up order and she was on it. She told me it would be a few minutes and promptly got to work bagging up all the to go orders that were ready. Less than 5 minutes later came back with my food. I appreciated her sense of urgency and amazing customer service! The chef was excellent as we loved all of our food. We ordered steak, crab cakes, and a burger. The steak was perfectly flavored and cooked to perfection, the crab cakes were divine, and the burger was excellent. We also ordered the bread and it was the best bread we’ve ever had!!! The only thing was the fries were a little overcooked but the rest of the meal made up for it. Will return, thank you!! ”
“ I have celiac disease and Burton’s is one of my go-to’s thanks to all their safe practices when it comes to food prep & handling! Brunch, lunch or dinner they have so many gluten-free options. This visit I ordered donuts and a brunch burger (I do wish the egg was a tad runny), both delicious! On a previous visit I enjoyed their firecracker shrimp which were so delish. ”
“ Great restaurant. We were visiting the area and looking for a local restaurant.They have indoor and outdoor seating. Both are a great choice. The atmosphere outside will be great during warm temperatures. We ordered the General Tso's Salmon Bowl & the Crispy Fish Sandwich. Both were great. We also had the Key Lime Pie & Chocolate Cake. Very Good. We did experience an issue with my husband's entree. However the waiter and manager went over and beyond to compensate for that issue. We will be back next time we are in the area. ”

Laurel was our server, and she was incredibly charming, personable, and made us feel right at home from the start. The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, and to top it all off, our daughter devoured her entire steak dinner! “ Just visited here for the first time and it was amazing! The drinks were reasonably priced. The food was fresh and very tasty. I had the fish sandwich and it was perfect! I'm still shocked at how fresh the ingredients of my salad was. I've only got that level of freshness when I make them myself at home. Which I do quite frequently! The hostess Jasmine is a delight! She's very professional, friendly, and she's great at what she do!. Our server Beatrice was top tier, her level of attentive was unmatched! Her menu recommendations were spot on, she never left us waiting for absolutely anything. Come see her! You won't be disappointed! ”
“ Burton’s in Alexandria is exceptional. My server Adam was friendly, courteous and attentive during a busy lunch period. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The Thai Steak Salad was probably the best I’ve ever had. Micro greens were crisp, the dressing had a sweet tang, and the char on the mouth watering steak blew my mind. 5 out of 5 without a doubt!!! ”
“ This place was fantastic. Plus half price bottles of wine on Wednesday. I will have to find that wine when I get home. The braised short rib grilled cheese was spectacular!! Plus a friend is gluten intolerant and they had an entire GF menu. We went two nights in a row. The waitstaff is spectacular also. Chico helped us last night and I can’t remember our waiters name tonight. I cannot recommend enough. ”
“ Christian is the best waiter there, by far. Christian has great menu knowledge and ensured we had a great time. Christian works hard and has fun. Kept the table clean by pre-bussing and the beers and appetizers coming on 6/24 evening, the 1st time dining at Burtons. The server Christian is AMAZING!!! Christian is beyond exemplary, very patient, and very friendly and informative with menu choices. I liked the handheld tablet for efficiency. Next time you go to Burtons, ask to sit in Christian's section. Every other employee there was mostly forgettable. Tell Ryan and Jeff (Management) to give the waiter, Christian, a raise!!! ASAP. Or else there will be consequences... ”
